  1. If there was a trade target the kings could make to have a better chance for a 50+ winning season, who would they target? What are the holes the kings need to fill? Its been on my mind a lot lately and I really dont know what the kings could do to improve their roster

  2. I havent had a lot of comments for the first 4 games, despite listening to all your podcasts, because for the first time in years, I am not sure what to make of the Kings this year…

The addition of Darozan, Heurters return and Lyles return always had me concerned, not about the individual players, about the lack of time spent playing together, building chemistry, getting in "game" shape", etc I just wonder at what point in the season we can look at this team and actually say, "The team chemistry here is solid"

I prefer to wait for a ten game sample size to make observations, but I do feel like in the first 5 games there have been improvements in game-flow.

I am loving the deflections and steals, I love the fact that we can win without relying on raining threes all night.

Give Atlanta some cred, they just torched us late from the perimeter, insane shots…

BTW Matt, your "Cringe Opening" had the exact effect you wanted, I nearly spit my drink out laughing when you said "This show sucks"

Anyway, looking forward to another season of convo and listening to the break down analysis that is the LOK cast with Mr George!

  3. The refs kept them in it for a long time, every time i felt like they were gonna put the game away, the refs made a bad call and changed the momentum

  4. I wish there was a way we could fit Keon into the closing 5 on the offensive end, at least somewhat. Because he was absolutely locking up trae young most of the game, then the last 9 minutes Trae started to get it going. They got that entire run from us not being able to guard one guy:

Our solution was initially to double team with Trey Lyles, that didn’t work cause it always led to a Garrison Matthews 3 (i think he finished with like 7 of them on the game).

Then we took out Lyles and put in Murray so he could double Trae instead and it again led to a Garrison Matthews 3.

So we switched to have Sabonis bring the double but that just led to an open Capela down low.

So the next possession we double with Fox and Sabonis but this time we have DeRozan come in to help guard Capela giving Sabonis enough time to get back but Capela just kicks it out for an guy in the corner.

Finally we just admit that we can’t double team Trae Young and that (with the way the ticky tacky whistle was today as you mentioned) led to Fox fouling every time.

If we just had Keon on the floor, that whole run never happens, or at the very least, it’s minimized

  5. A win is a win, however this doesn't bode well for us, blowing 17 point lead to team like these healthy or not, my take away from this is our perimeter defense is horrendous better teams will pick us apart. I'm encourage but not convinced.
