Wemby has NO Game
Rashad McCants and Nick SwaggyP Young ERUPT over Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs are starting the season slowly. Nick says that Wemby has NO Game in the current NBA form. He looked bad against Chet Holmgren and OKC Thunder in his first primetime debut this season. After last year’s Rookie of the Year season last year he has maybe regressed entering his second NBA season. What sort of bag and tricks does he have he this season. Rashad of the Gil’s Arena podcast thinks SwaggyP is crazy and he has the same bag as Luka Doncic. It is not all highlight reels for Spurs like Nick is saying.

I’m with nick on this. Wemby is awesome but he’s certainly still more potential than he is actualized talent.
He doesn’t really have that unstoppable moves. He has a bunch of moves that are hard to stop, but none of them are very consistent yet.
He should not be mentioned in the same breath as Luka just yet. Even tho his ceiling is higher, he’s still very raw and it’s too common that he’s having bad games. He’s gotta develop more, he’s gotta find his identity on offense more, but what he is now is very very good!
