The Blue Jays are not in the mix. One of things Juan said is he wants to win, and the Blue Jays finished in last place with half their current roster comprised of Triple A guys. Soto's going to the Yankees or Mets.

Soto is not signing with Philadelphia the city has nothing to offer. He’s a Dominican and there is only one big city that has large Dominican community that can afford to pay and that is New York! The only decision for Soto will be Bronx or Queens.

At the beginning of the 2024 season stearns said the reason the Mets didn’t t make the playoffs in 2023 was because they didn’t have replacements for injuries , so when he went out and purchased all these marginal relief pitchers he eventually proved his point , like LA , don’t under estimate the power of attrition !
