  1. Its second season we see udoka isnt good at offence. then need to hire a assistant coach who specilize at offence. They said themself "we have very small team". If they really targeting playoffs, they need more coaching personel.

  2. Ime came to the Rockets known as a guy that runs a half court offense and likes to set up players for catch and shoot threes. I think that is why he centered the offense around Alpi. Near last years deadline Jalen Green said he doesn't think he is being used right and Alpi got hurt and we switched to a transition offense and won a bunch of games against teams with losing records(Mostly). Now this season we are running the ball but it looks like Jalen has improved his shooting stroke so why don't we go back to half court offense so Alpi can be used the way he should and Jalen can be mostly a spot up shooter? To me it looks like the Rockets are looking for an excuse to trade Alpi, saying he doesn't fit anymore. I believe Jalen could be the spot up shooter they wanted in the first place. I don't want to see a team centered around Jalen. When teams switch up defenses on him, he is going to get confused and become non aggressive. Like he did last night. We have to change our hierarchy to whatever defenses throw at us. Right now it looks to me the hierarchy should be Alpi then Jalen then Tari. Tari made his own shot several times last night. Fred is merely a ball handler now. He is nothing compared to last year.

  3. At this point I think it’s worth having Reed and Sengun in for extended time just for us to get offense, our defense is great and we can have our defense out there often but we need a great shooter out there especially on night green isn’t going, Sengun helped run the offensive engine in that 3rd. And then got benched… I still don’t understand why Sengun wasn’t out there for OT, when Draymond green was fouled out.. defense is great but the offense is A STRUGGLE right now and it should all fall on Ime right now

  4. im all for the ocmback and im proud our guys fought back however, were done with moral victories. We need to start looking at how we got done 31 points because if were being honest i don't think that comeback happens if the warriors had steph curry playing. like we cant win off bails outs and comebacks and gamble. I think we still don't have enough shooting rn and in a half court offensive rn we have some major concerns. Lastly if jg or segun gonna be an allstar , they gonna have to be treated like one. Ime can't keep benching them regardless if there playing bad.

  5. It seems like Ime was stubborn or sending a message at a cost. I haven't looked but (to me) the most effective line-up combining both ends wasn't out there when it counted. I hope this isn't one that haunts us.
I didn't really hear a good reasoning for the minutes dist. and milking a line-up past it's due. Also, think he didn't have an answer to burn that blitz so he gave up on the play(Hi PnR)..and maybe that's part of his personnel choices. You can't blame that on 1 guy bc the blitz/trap was effective no matter the personnel and really limits this team if you can't burn it and blink first.

  6. Time for tari to start. He's the future anyway start getting him groomed for the spot. Dillion to the bench and trade for a new PG ASAP! FVV is not the ansewer and never was he a liability not a help at this point no extensions send him packing he a effenciecy cancer. Any upgrade trade to improve our veterans would be helpful we kept a lot of tradable contracts thos year. GM get busy this this needs improving now, time for youth growth must go hand in hand with upgrades.

  7. I'm not a big Giannis fan. It is boring to watch him forcing the ball to the basket. But I think he could be the center that Ime wants. Imagine Giannis at center, Jabari at power forward and Tari at small forward. That is a great athletic front court.

  8. Back off on the threes ,shut down the brick factory. FVV AND JALEN just stop it with 20 threes a game. Whole team needs to focus on fundamentals and higher % shots. IME NEEDS TO WAKE UP! This is not boston in any matrix. Quit chunking up bricks like you got shooters.

  9. I keep telling everyone alpi needs a pri expert (posterual restoration institute) he has back extension (his chest sticks and and his lower back does too) its so clear i have it too and any posterural restoration expert would know thia and see this too this is why he has back issues and performance issues

  10. There is a clear problem between alpi and Ime thats for sure. And also could be a conflict between management and Ime regarding the contract. Since you dont bench a player with 1 turnover meanwhile others shooting 3's like 2/13 & 3/15 or sth like that. Also Playing with pace or faster does not mean playing better !! Everything team strives a talent like Alpi and you have it at least 5 years and If as a coach can not utilize a player like alpi then your coaching skills should be in question. this season will be a huge succes or major dissapointment not in the middle. If alpi issue is not solved, I believe there will be issues w Green and Jabari too.

  11. Great pod Jackson. DAMN IF YOU DO DAMN IF YOU DON'T. I have heard many blame this gams on Udoka, while I will be the 1st to say there are things I would have done differently. this game was lost by the starters, THE PLAYERS. Jalen Green 2-13 Sengun 5-10 FVV 2-12 Jabari 7-18 Brooks 3-9 NO ONE can coach that into wins. Jalen had a bad game, but did not adjust to the defense GS was using. disapointing. I believe he will bounce back next game. Dillion is Dillion. we knew he would have days like this when we signed him. Jabari showed us another night of streaky hot and ice cold shooting, but the real question is what the _uck is going on with FVV and Sengun. neither has played up to par this season. the point being this team is built in a way where we expect each of these two to provide us with points and for Sengun rebounds also. neither has looked like they did last year. Sengun looks a step low and Fred can't throw a nickel in the ocean from a surf board. WHAT'S UP WITH THAT. IT'S TIME TO PUT EASON IN THE STARTING LINEUP. if Fred can't start knocking down some of these wide open looks we need to move on. I'm expecting Alpren to to get his act togther. he has the benifit of the doubt right now. I think part of this problem that the Rockets are suffering from with only playing half a game is the lack of scouring from the starters. if Jalen isn't hot the starters lack punch without Alpren producing. we have buit this team with him and Jalen as the head of the spear. before this game Jalen is holding up his end, but Alpren not so much. the answer is we need a shakeup. it's time for Dillion to sit with his minutes going to Tari or Amen. we need more energy from the starting lineup

  12. Reed + Sengun combo we rarely have seen, that can be a deadly combo. The opportunity to grow taken from them.

I prefer to lose with young guys on the floor, than to win with mediocre FVV or DB.
The team is not contender this year, in addition, you cannot stop growth.

  13. This season is off to a horrible start. They are too inconsistent. The team doesn’t fit together. He needs to change starting lineup. Tari needs to start. I would bench Dillion and Fred at this point. Amen and tari need to start at this point. This isn’t working. We have too many young guys we don’t have minutes for. At this point go all in and see if Giannis is available.

  14. Ime Udoka fails to establish the chemistry of the team, in my opinion. There is a coaching problem in the NBA. European coaches are more successful in the NBA. NBA teams should open the door to European coaches. And thus, young teams can progress faster and improve their games thanks to European coaches.

  15. I agree Jackson! This was on Ime short sightedness. Sengun was the best starter out there and got half the time as the other starters, with stats better than those starters in half the time. Jalen and Alp should have played in OT. This is the first time I can say I was disappointed in Ime. He was hoping that Tari would bail this team out single handedly.
