  1. can be rough but we need two competing goalies that bring each other up, find Monty can be left with all the weight on his shoulders, so i think we need someone with Monty and then can push each other, lil old school but it works

  2. we need to stop with the call ups lol the kids need 2 3 FULL season in the minors and we NEED to do that . whats hard is that we have no first line players , its very hard to win. compared even to pitts we have less then nothing imagine Crosby letang malkin in mtl. we need a HUGE step up in the players that play on our first line. REAL first liners a real first center and first D-men.

  3. Flip the NHL standings put the last place teams on top and enjoy the ride to top 3 pic leave Laval alone let's them learn under a better coach the winning culture that will probably take over the NHL club next year or year after

  4. No NO Huberdeau! No NO Huberdeau! Gally is playing great and deserves our loyalty. As long as he can pot 20-25 goals while driving energy and instilling compete in the young guys is worth the contract he has. Great show guys! GO HABS GO!

  5. When Huber's production tanked in Calgary they claimed "The Flames play a different system". I wouldn't want that contract hoping the Habs system is more to his liking!

  6. The only reason anyone would think this trade makes any sense is just to get Huberdeau back to Quebec and Gallagher back to Alberta. In all other ways it's completely bone headed.

  7. I don't think we will get Huberdeau. Seems kinda silly. He has not been the same since he left Florida. Not sure he would do any good here with the pressure. I think patience is key here. Better guys will become available as the season goes on. One forward will not help the team much. We need some quality defence and a real goalie way more than we need a overpaid 20 goal scorer . The reporter who proposed this is dreaming in technicolor.

  8. My opinion of Roy is on a roller coaster. One things that worries me is that he doesn't seem to be internally motivated. He needs to be sent down in order to produce? Looking at his history it seems like we keeps needing a kick in the pants to become the full version of himself.

  9. We'll see how the season goes for Gallagher and Anderson as they were bad Bergevin contracts. Gallagher is $6.5M cap hit, but his salary for the season will be $9M (puckpedia) and Anderson cap hit $5.5M, but making $7M. Currently, it is fortunate that the Habs do not have to clear up any cap space yet.

  10. 40+ is what Caufield is 50 on a bad team whci they are, so they can do it this year like Richer. That guy hated hockey and hit 50 he had bad depression and didn't care, Cole care.
