Looks like he is leading with his shoulder, did not launch for the impact, and was not leading with the crown of the helmet. Good, no call.
Looks to be leading with the shoulder, but I wouldn't have a problem with this being called. However, this isn't an example of a "defenseless receiver" though like in the Miami v Bills game. That receiver was still in the air when he was hit helmet to helmet. In this case, had the defender made the tackle a bit lower, there would be much less if any helmet to helmet contact. It probably would have had the same result in jarring the ball loose and creating the incompletion. It's tough when things are happening at actual speed, though. So working on tackling technique is required. I think since the implementation of targeting in college, we may see less of this in future NFL seasons. Those defenders are getting better at tackling the body.
No that shouldn't have been a penalty. If you don't want to see football played, don't watch football.
They called two bogus calls on the rams an took puka out on a soft ass call refs did everything an still lost
I swear every game has outcome-deciding calls/no-calls like this but the internet only cares for more than 2 minutes when the Chiefs are involved
GENO SUKS… BENCH THE PUNK..
That was a blown call.
Picking up this flag was more egregious than not calling it at all
Good no call mostly body Imo
A helmet doesn’t just snap back like that from being hit by shoulder pads and answer me this… Did his head snap back first or his body? Exactly, his helmet. If this guy wasn’t biased, he would have the noise playing too because the noise of the helmets cracking together was one of the loudest cracks I have ever heard and I have grown up my entire childhood and teenage life playing football as well as following football my whole life.
Lmao WHAT ABOUT GENO WIT A 20 PLUS YARD COMPLETION ON 3RD & 17 PICKING UP 1ST DOWN BUT A OFFENSIVE HOLDING WAS CALLED WHICH CLEARLY WAS A HORRIBLE CALL BUT COMPLETELY CHANGED THE GAME AROUND WHEN IT SHOULD NOT OF BEEN CALLED
I think DraftKings controls the narrative and this game has no legitimacy anymore
Same hit was called in the Miami Buffalo game a little earlier. Way too much inconsistency on this penalty.
The officiating was terrible. They helped the Seahawks all game. That is a penalty in every way
Nah, that particular play was 50/50 could have been intercepted or caught. And they arrived at the spot at the same time. BTW, I've always been a Rams fan since the Jim Everett days!
A lot of bad calls and no calls in this game for both teams. But in the end…….RAMS BABY!!!!!!
It helmet to helmet contact thats a penalty.
He led with shoulder. We should start playing flag football
In slow replay it looks like a penalty, but in real time, it looked like a good, tough "football play". (from a Rams fan) Both teams have legit gripes today…the refs were OVERLY involved in this game.
Bro why does it get blurry when you pause I'm genuinely curious
He is focusing on the chest (assuming WR catched the ball) so that's why no flag.
You can clearly see his helmet jet out at a 90° angle before his body shows any evidence of impact. A big time missed call there.
I was rooting for the Hawks, it was obviously a penalty.
Absolutely should of been a penalty it isn't close
Looks like the helmet hit first.
Aaaaand we still won 🏆
That was a penalty the Seahawks player hit him in the helmet, they need to stick to the rules, that would of been a first down and the Rams would of been in field goal range 😂
Concussion
