1. Chiefs fans hear this every year with (insert team here). We understand the media has to keep it interesting somehow.

I grew up in Chicago in the 60s and 70s, had a gig where I got to see Walter in his prime, moved to Wisconsin just in time to witness the modern Packers golden age with Reggie and Leroy, and I'm telling you that we Bear/Packer fans are totally rooting for the Lions. Their time has finally come. Not sure about them Vikings fans…

4. 🤦‍♂️…..every single year theres a new darling…bills, bengals, eagles, niners, ravens….and it NEVER matters in january and february. Last year the Ravens were the best team in the NFL…they beat up on all the good teams…until they played Mahomes and Reid. Same story different year

5. Lions are still in their honeymoon phase. Where they think they need to score 30+ points a game to win.
   Chiefs are just smarter. Okay with less effort. Don’t need to score 30 points when you’re holding the other team to 20 or less

8. I’ve watched the Lions since Greg Landry. I still remember Eric Hipple. My DNA won’t allow me to completely let loose and believe. But I’m sure hoping for a hard reset with a Super Bowl win. Is it possible?

9. Every year Chiefs fans have to endure haters like this guy. We will see at the end of the year. The Lions are legit. But they aren't 7-0. The one time the Chiefs blew away an opponent, the network quit broadcasting their game. The same would happen to the Lions if they were truly as you say, the best team in the NFL…

16. It's obvious the Leauge were attempting to even up the race…It seems like to me.. We'll the Lions said no your not..The Branch hit involved another defender that moved the position of the receiver causing the hit to look worse than it was. 23. Can’t talk about Lions being better than the Chiefs unless they beat them in the playoffs. The Chiefs have won 2 Super Bowls in a row and can mess around all game with below average weapons and still win. Chiefs are #1 and it’s not even close

37. The chiefs are still better than detroit. They just are. Lions can beat everyone by 50, i dont care, if they play the chiefs theyll score about 21 tops and lose. Chiefs over lions in the super bowl.

38. Rich, the Lions are over-exerting themselves. Same way the Dolphins did. Same way the Bengals did. Same way the Bills did. Same way Baltimore did. I love that you distinguished that the Lions are better right now comparatively to KC- thats a fact! However, It's a marathon, not a drag race. Kansas City taught you that particular lesson LAST YEAR.

39. Detroit is currently better than the Chiefs. The NFL refs constantly favor the chiefs nowadays especially in the late rounds of the playoffs and the Superbowl, we've seen it time and time again.
