5. An elite interior defensive lineman would make this defense elite. If this defense can get pressure with 4 AND consistent stop the run then they can compete with the Lions.

24. I love this list, but I will share 6 thoughts….for what they're worth….lol
    1. I have concerns re durability of Simmons & Ramsey.
    2. I know Dexter Lawrence would be extremely expensive, but I believe that he would be the kind of addition that other teams/fans/journalists have looked back on with joy, after their team made a big trade & proceeded to dominate the NFL for the rest of the season & beyond. (e.g. how the 49ers changed after adding Christian McCaffrey..until this year…) With Lawrence guarding the middle, and requiring two or more blockers to handle, Flores could be even more creative in making life hell for opposing QBs.
    3. I agree with Andy when he says that Quinnen Williams, Jeffrey Simmons & Osa Odighizuwa are not in Lawrence's league. Ideally Kwesi can dangle enough bait that would temp the Giants to give up their superstar NT in return for enough draft capital/players that the Giants' GM could tell Giants fans/journalists that their re-tooling/upgrading of the roster will happen much sooner rather than later (very short term pain for significant gains in the next couple of years).
    4. Would Calais Campbell give the Vikes something they don't already have on the roster? I am not familiar with what he brings to the table.
    5. As for J.C. Horn…I would LOVE to have him, but given Kwesi A-M's limited draft capital, the team would get more bang for the buck on defence by adding Lawrence (whose pressures/sacks/run-stopping ability will make life much easier for all Vikes LBs & DBs. If I recall correctly, Lattimore has been a penalty machine & I don't think he is physical enough to play in Flores' defence…but I could be wrong on that…
    6. Regarding upgrading the O-line, I know nothing about Dylan Parham, although his lack of size may be compounding the problem the Vikes' OL has had for years. Why wasn't Mike Owenu on the list?
