Eloy Jimenez tops the Chicago White Sox disappointment rankings, but Andrew Vaughn is not far behind
The Chicago White Sox have made Yoan Moncada a free agent after declining to pick up his option. Eloy Jimenez is also now a free agent after the Baltimore Orioles declined his after trading for the former Sox DH. Those two can be seen as huge disappointments in White Sox history, but Andrew Vaughn deserves to be in the conversation.
Hear host Todd Welter explain why Eloy will always be the biggest disappointment of the three, but Vaughn is certainly ahead of Moncada on the list. Then Todd discusses why the Sox should not pursue Chicago Cubs legend Anthony Rizzo in free agency. Finally, he goes over the hope the team top prospect, starting pitcher Noah Schultz provides.

The sad part is the talent was there. It's too bad they were all made of porcelain.
Correct- No way Rizzo would spend the twilight of his career here… however, if he ever did, I would welcome his lefty bat over both Sheets and Vaughn.
The whole team in 2024
John Schiffren = biggest disappointment
I've never before seen a half dozen players on the same team who couldn't run to 1B without risking a season ending injury.
Rizzo has the look of a guy who's lost the passion of being a pro ball player, that play at 1b vs the Dodgers, plus all of his playoff ABs just goes further to strengthen this point for me
Not Rizzo – please – not when you are reorganizing – spend money and get a productive veteran if necessary.
