Jayson Tatum’s hot shooting leads Boston Celtics to easy win, Trae Young shut down

Boston Celtics Showcase Depth and Dominance in Latest Victory

The Boston Celtics demonstrated their impressive depth by comfortably winning with Neemias Queta, their 4th string center, in the starting lineup. It shows the Celtics have quite a luxury, especially as their competition struggles. Jayson Tatum’s hot shooting was a highlight, as he racked up 28 points, 9 assists, and 6 rebounds, setting the tone early. Derrick White and Payton Pritchard also made significant contributions, showcasing a balanced team performance. The Celtics’ defense shone by effectively containing Trae Young, limiting him to just 2 points before his injury exit. However, the team’s reliance on three-point shooting, with 55 attempts, raises questions about their offensive strategy.

  1. kinda shocked Jaylen Brown didn’t play in his hometown ATL. He always loves to play in Atlanta. Hopefully the tests in Boston on his hip are good and JB can get treatment to manage this.

  2. Anyone else a little concerned with Hauser? I know I’m nitpicking but his shot doesn’t look as smooth as in the past. Wonder if the back injury is affecting his shooting. He’s still playing well overall but the shot is a little off to me.

  3. Im really enjoying peak Tatum. I think he’s showing everyone what he could do if he was the only option on the team, Imagine if he had to play in the 4th quarter?

  4. Cavs still don’t really scare me tbh. They don’t have the shooting when it comes down to it and the bench unit is definitely subpar.
