Reynolds is the last pirate I would call utility. I don't like these utility player awards. They're basically backup players who can fill in.

What does J1Q stand for?
Did the league designate BRay as utility or did the team? Other than his day off DH role, all of his appearances were in the outfield. This almost smells like Cherrington wanting to lay ground work for the move to 1B.
Color me skeptical.
Pirate fans told me all these moves Cherington made were good, and I didn't see it because I didn't know anything about baseball.
