This where the hate for Brock Purdy comes from. He thought Trey Lance was the next big thing and instead of just admitting he was wrong he would just rather hate on Brook and pretend that Dallas should start him over a QB that is lets face just better. Trey Lance wasn't that good in college he shouldn't have been drafted let alone early in the first round.
I think k Nick is right here for once, I mean what do they have to lose at this point. Even if he’s not good try starting him and maybe some team will see something they can develop and they can at least get a 7th or just something instead of having to cut him.

they have nothing to lose why not start lance. it’s a win/win situation if lance is in fact a bust it confirms he’s a bust and you lose the pick. if he can be decent to average even it light it up then you’ve got a trade piece to get that pick back. but if he lights it up then qb controversy..? jerry loves making news lol
are they really going to win any more games? they can steal one maybe two but is it worth hurting your draft position? just go with lance and see what he’s got. he has to be itching to get on the field to prove he’s not a bust. and if he really can live up to that draft status then you’ve either got really good trade bait or a qb controversy
