  8. If Brian Cashman thought Aaron Boone managed well, I want to go to that dimension and the Ralph who lives there can come here. Things are not going good even outside of baseball in this dimension.

  9. I wonder if Cashman is doing and saying what he is and has because he wants to “jerk” around the media ……what he says behind closed doors may be different………I’m not defending him just offering one other possible take.
    I’d see the comments on Dominguez as more of a starter for ten as it were ….ie if something comes along that his worth could make happen, he isn’t ruling it out. I don’t have an issue with him not saying Dominguez is a starter, to me in many ways that’s just being sensible.
    As for Boone …..oh I’ve heard over my long years many a member of the Brass pay over the top compliments to managers and next day or even hours later they are fired! In soccer in the UK they look on if the high brass (directors of a club) all come out in support of a manager singing praises ……that is the kiss of death! I get stateside it’s a tad different but hey don’t look to deep into those press comments, like with the Cole firestorm ……they may be “manufactured” just for the shear hell of it or because in Cashmans case he just doesn’t like the media ……which I’d somewhat share, they media do have a bad habit (not you guys btw) of adding 2 + 2 and getting anywhere from 5 to a zillion! It’s mind games don’t get to worked up Stacy ……I know you are passionate about the Yankees (as am I ) just think is he playing a game just to wind folks up or throw folks off the scent …….ie hey look over here as I really don’t want you looking over there where something is happening! Old trick but effective!
