  1. The new guy hates Joel lmao. Embiid is right when he says he’s hated to an unfair or v least unusual extent.

It was obviously personal for the guy who wrote that piece too

  2. I remember Wos having a chat with a guy over a year ago who was over Embid because he kept getting passes that mega stars didn't get.

Wos followed suit after that interview and has been ahead of most NBA pods and media about Joel being Tall Harden.
The way you do anything is the way you do everything, Embid is not and never will be That Guy. Accept this and your disappointment in him will no longer bother you at all.

  3. Alex Caruso is not even shooting the ball at all right now. Last time I looked he was under 20% for three-point shooting and under 30% for field goal percentage.
Even between that and heartenstein coming back, they have more room to grow.

  4. Chet doesn't always get into foul trouble. Chet is one of the best bigs in the league of defending without fouling.
He only Commits 2 fouls a game. Sounds like someone doesn't watch the games.

  5. I’ve had season tickets for OKC since the 1st season they arrived in 08, and this team over the last 2 seasons is has been my favorite team since the 2012 Finals team with a young KD, Westbrook, Harden, and Ibaka. That team will always be special because it was in that honeymoon phase after the franchise relocated to OKC, but this teams brand of basketball is much more enjoyable to watch. Don’t get me wrong the 2012 was amazing too, but it was a lot of isolation. It’s like KD, Westbrook, and Harden just took turns going 1 on 1, and their chemistry wasn’t great either. It seemed like KD and Russ and sometimes Kendrick Perkins were always beefing about something, but this crew seem to really enjoy playing together. What’s crazy is sometimes I’ll catch a game for their G league team and there’s guys on that team that would be playing for many teams or at the very least be a bench guy, but the Thunder are so deep they don’t have a spot for them on their bench. They’ve got a long runway with this team. They’re young, they’re deep, they’ve got good prospects on their farm team, and they have a ton of draft picks. They could easily be looking at a 10 to 15 year window as a title contender.

  6. Another insane Thunder fact is that they have the Clippers 1st round pick next year. With PG gone, Kawhi Leonard hurt and disgruntled, and what could very easily turn into a bad season, there’s a chance that Clippers pick could be pretty high. If the ping pong balls bounce in their favor the Thunder could get Cooper Flagg to add to this roster.
