  1. With Buehler, it is not a surprise. Dodgers think the $21M offer was too high. They may offer him a 2 yr contract at a lower value in year one with a player option.

  2. Iโ€™d like Butane and Teo to come back, but I trust our front office to figure all that stuff out. We canโ€™t always run the same exact team out there, much as weโ€™d like, but Butane is a Dodger legend at this point, so I hope they can find the right agreement to bring him back. Teo has been a huge hit in LA, and a big fan favorite; not a lot of fans will tell you theyโ€™d rather have a guy like Soto, and I think it has a lot to do with perceptions about team chemistry and whatever. I have not liked him since he played for the Padres, but if he were in Dodger Blue, maybe I wouldnโ€™t mind him so much ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. I do hope he finds a good home, although I think a team like the Yankees might actually be better off without him, just given the other obvious shortcomings they have in the field. Mets might make more sense, just given the financial resources available, but I would hate to see Pete Alonso in pinstripes, as well ๐Ÿ˜ข.

  3. With all this talk about rich teams having an unfair advantage; I'd like to remind everyone it's the same in the game of life and it's called capitalism!

The Bezos Prime, Zuckerberg Metas and the Musk Nationalists (all white uniforms)have
been dynasties for decades because of their wealth.

And for some reason the richest teams never have to pay any or very little league fees while all the small market teams do.

That doesn't seem fair does it?๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

  4. i just want to say, IM SO FUCKING TIRED of people disrepsecting everything Rizzo has done in his major league career just because the pitcher was too focused on having his fucking "pop off moment" to play fundamental baseball. AWFUL stuff that yankee fans continue to be ungrateful and blind to what makes their team special

  5. Dodger fan here putting in a comment for the algorithm. Love listening to the baseball chop you ladies are doing and the Yankee hate is just an added bonus ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜‚ Keep up the good work โค

  6. Unless their pursuit of Juan Soto prevents them from doing so, most likely would have to think that Pete Alonso returns to the Mets. However, if the non-trade trade with Soto coming to the Mets and Alonso going to the Yankees comes to fruition, believe that is something most Mets, not Yankees fans would gladly sign up for. Would be less than honest if I didn't say that I hope that Pete Alonso somehow comes home to Tampa to play for the Rays. But I will wake up now because it is not happening. No way, no how.๐Ÿ˜

  7. No way Yanks are going to let Soto walk.. The only way Soto is not a Yankee next year is because Soto don't want to be a Yankee. Go Dodgers for the second ๐Ÿฅˆ๐Ÿฅˆ๐Ÿฅˆ. ๐Ÿ˜‚

  8. Seems us Dodger fans are showing up in high numbers lol. Will be perfect for our rematch next season in the NLCS so we can all chat together. This podcast is so entertaining. Keep it coming.

  9. Dodgers didn't extend the offer to Buelher because they will resign him on a lower amount annually is my perception because of his injuries and his regular season struggles. I also don't see the Dodgers going for Soto financially, but if they did, I wouldn't mind it because Soto is a beast when playing at Dodger Stadium. They may let Flatherty go because we should have 5 starting pitchers returning from injury.

  10. ASHLEY!!!! Hoping the polar bear goes to the Yanks is wild LMAO I like the point made but wouldn't you like him to be a Met for life at this point? He's basically a NYM treasurer at this point. Soto is only there for the money, not a franchise player. I do not think Soto will be the one to get you over the top after the World Series took place.

  12. Just another Dodger fan, back for another episode
Nahhhh, I don't think its evil at all for enjoying your cross town rivals' shortcomings, its basically a requirement (dodger/angels, rangers/astros, athletics/giants), take it all in and enjoy, all part of the fun ๐Ÿ˜‚ also RIP to Oakland
And yes Teoscar over Soto for me all day, everyday

  13. Most of you are not going to like this โ€ฆ.Soto Iโ€™d say is going to be in Yankee Pinstripes, unless the Mets fill holes, the Yankees will fill the holes no matter what Mets fans think. There is also the legacy the Yankees have โ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆ.Iโ€™d also say that Soto was told what to say by his agent โ€ฆ..
Cole is a Yankee and will never be anything else โ€ฆโ€ฆIโ€™d say that was a manufactured firestorm to start the flames burning in the Hot Stove!

  14. Mets have an owner rather than an ownership group so they have an advantage in that the money decisions do not have to go through a committee. So they have the inside track on Soto. But will that be enough to get back to the NLSC and bump off a team that was clearly better? I can see Dodgers fans sticking around this channel if the Mets emerge as their likely NL challenger by adding Soto and getting deeper on talent at other positions.

  15. Moving sucks. Yanks have a great selling point.
On a side note here's my hot take.I have suspected for a while that Aroin Judge lives rent fre in Pete's head.
He falls all over himself to get into those home run derbys, which is why I suspect he has been using Judge as a measuring stick and has actually suffered at the plate trying to keep pace.

  16. Wife swap? HAHAHAHA! Best line ever on sports podcast one thing about Teoscar Hernandez the Best clubhouse guy and genuinely loved teammate of the Mets somehow get him chemistry will be in my opinion so much better than Soto

  17. I never thought I would follow a Mets fans channel but here I am. I thoroughly impressed by the baseball knowledge and ability to cover these stories and topics with a straight forward approach and mostly non-biased opinion.. Of course you're going to be biased to the team you love and that's all part of the charm as you don't go too far beyond the pale that it clouds your ability to cover other teams in a clear concise manner. Well done..!!! As a Dodgers fan I am certainly glad that the YouTube algorithm popped this channel into my feed.

  18. Dodgers fan here. Consensus is Dodgers did not want to pay Buehler $21M. He was not good in the regular season, and has had 2 Tommy John surgeries already.

  19. East Coast baseball minds with West Coast vibes. That said. We in the Dodgers Delegation choose Samantha Croston and Ashley Wenskoski to represent our Los Angeles Dodgers in this up coming season. ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿค
