  1. I keep seeing comments about the non-call high sticking later in the game against Utah yesterday. The high sticking rule doesn't count with regards to wind-up/follow-through on slapshots. Which I heard was the reason for that not being called. Makes sense to me, but what was your opinion as to why that should have been a penalty?

  2. Goaltender interference.

    The hit on Connor.

Namestnikov having his stick ripped out of his hands with an open cage in front of him.

    That Tampa Game was obnoxious.

  3. My theory is that the goalie interference call was more of a mis-speaking than a missed call. I truly believe that the situation room would have instructed that it was NO GOAL, but when the ref skated out he just had a brain fart and said NO GOAL INTERFERENCE. You can see him get confused when he starts speaking, almost realizing that he said it wrong. Then they just decided to go with it, so as to not look like fools … which of course they are.

  4. It's not just the Jets…refs have been beyond awful this season. Worst I've ever seen, and they make it worse by pretending they are right. People around the League are saying the Jets are being screwed, that says a lot. Even other-team announcers are like, what is going on here? Good for Bucky. The NHL needs more input from the players, the Refs are far too powerful as an organization. Bad refs, refs with a chip on their shoulder who target players and teams with calls or non calls is a serious problem. Wake up NHL. Your product right now needs work.

  5. Having watched the Jets for over 40 years, this has been the situation all the time over the last 4 decades…

Jets are not supposed to win, the league has made that very clear….

  6. Jets vs Dallas, Helly doesnt have a helmet, and the refs didnt blew the whistle resulting to a Dallas goal, how can a goalie defend the net without a helmet.. smh

  7. Thank you for acknowledging other reasons for the Jets' success besides Hellebuyck even though he obviously is an important contributor. In the past, I believe it was a way of diminishing the team as a whole. All or most of the pieces are now working together which you need considering hockey is s "team" sport. Having one or two stars is great, but you need a competent team behind them.

  8. It was Furman South (or at least that's my take) and it sure looks like he has an agenda, but who knows, maybe he's just a bad referee and holds a grudge against Winnipeg because they stand up for themselves. So unless someone can link him to a conspiracy it doesn't help to blame other people who may or may not have anything to do with someone's vendetta.
