  1. We just CANNOT let Hill or Waddle get over the top of the defense Monday. Our Dbs gonna need safety help. Keep everything in front and let the pressure do the job and we’ll win. That’s what I think. Go rams!!

  2. As good as Verse and Fiske play well together, it's just getting started. They're gonna be causing havoc together for at least 5 consecutive seasons. No one will be questioning the 2nd round pick that we gave up for Fiske soon. The guy has JJ Watt dominance potential. If people knew in hindsight how good Watt was going to be, multiple top picks would've been offered for his services. I'm not saying that Fiske is Watt, but the potential is there. We can all see it for ourselves.

  16. I hate to say this but Jake… I saw it coming. I was hoping that Shula would start to play Hoecht on the inside because Nic Hampton needs playing time. ( see that batted ball?) So did Speights. So did Tyler Davis. The Rams are a GREAT secondary player away from being a top 5 defense.Or better.

  17. Imagine if we make the playoffs and bring back Aaron Donald… Verse, Hoecht and Young sideline to side line… Fisk, Turner and Brown and Davis stuffing the middle… which we would have picked up Devin Lloyd though but Speights balling out.

  19. I've saying during TC this defense was really talented. I told people and was laughed at that this defense if played aggressively could end the season as a top 5 unit. I said when Donald retired the goal isn't to replace the man because that isn't happening. But the focus is upon replace the production and threat level AD presented. They have done that. People thought Miller and Fowler were outstanding edges and they were. But Verse and Young are better. Now you add in Turner and Young and the are truly dangerous. The difference between Shula and Morris is very clear. Morris admitted he played conservatively assuming the offense would eventually make mistakes whereas Shula plays aggressively to force mistakes. I'm on record for criticizing Morris for years because of his passive schemes. Now look at what the Rams D is doing. They are taking control of games. Thats why Morris is gone.
