  1. He's a good drummer, a bit old but his experience will be a welcome addition in the lockerroom. adjusts his hearing aids Oh you said Mingo….yeah no clue who that is…

  2. Mingo is a height weight speed guy with no skill as a receiver. I get the contract is favorable if it works out but the Panthers got a steal by all accounts

  3. I suspect he knows he will draft an offensive lineman with his high first pick, not draft a receiver with his 2nd pick. Sees the guy as a 500+ yard receiver with Dak and that is a need because he is not going to draft or sign one. I suspect they looked at his tape and blamed the QB and play calling for him not being targeted.

  4. Mingo was the worst receiver on the team with the worst WR group in the league

he's looked slow and clunky, hasn't produced anything, has made zero impact on a team that has been desperate for ANYONE to step up in the slightest way…. but sure, because the PANTHERS drafted him in the 2nd, that must mean he's good hahaha man the Cowboys are an absolute joke

  5. CAR fan here. Mingo was given every opportunity to show something by TWO different coaching staffs and did nothing. He got 33 offensive snaps the other week; he has ONE target and zero catches over the last four games. Dude cannot get open to save his life and is 50/50 to be out of the league next year. Tremendous hubris by Team Star to think they can "fix" the guy. Have they fixed Trey Lance?

  6. Hey, maybe Jerry Jones is less senile than he would first appear. Giving a 4th round pick for Mingo makes the Trey Lance trade not look like the stupidest trade Jerry's ever made.

  7. Even if he balls out in Dallas (which I don’t see happening) getting a 4th for a guy who probably was going to not make the team next year was a crucial commanding W for GM Dan Morgan in a rebuild.

  8. Most normal NFL teams: Scout prospects based on a highly volatile variety of traits and talent, project floors/ceilings, and then years later evaluate if the player was accurately assessed based on results. Use this to tweak team's own scouting process.

Dallas Cowboys: See that they were wildly wrong about a player after massive underperformance at the pro level and double down on the bad process.

Just another day in Jerry World
