  1. This is getting beyond RIDICULOUS, If I didn't know any better I feel like we are still in the Offseason where the talking heads are out of Topics and are resorting for clicks. this is like asking if the BULLS back in the day could survived without Jordan.

  2. To make DP's point for him, Patrick Mahomes is LEN DAWSON's successor. The Chiefs fans have waited a long, long time for any kind of sustained success. Since they played in the 1970 AFL Championship game, they had made exactly one appearance in the Conference Championship (in 1994 and were destroyed by the Bills) before the arrival of Mahomes. They have now been to six straight. It is almost impossible to win a SB without a top 5 QB in the league.

  3. It is both a compliment to Patrick that they likely wouldn’t win big games and to the organization that they would have a fighting chance in said big games without their QB. Doesn’t have to be black and white.

  4. Mahomes is not fast, but he looks even slower because until he reaches the line of scrimage he is usually looking to throw the ball. Once he commits to running he picks it up.

  5. If Mahomes was out for the rest of the season, the Chiefs COULD POSSIBLY win 3 more games out of the next 9…they would make the playoffs because every team that's started 8-0 makes the playoffs, 29% of them go on to win the Super Bowl, but that wouldn't happen if Cason Wentz was starting the last 9 games. The defense would get them those 3 wins and then it would be all over. Mahomes is the key to the Chiefs winning, plain and simple.
