Tennessee Titans Film Breakdown: L’Jarius Sneed Got SMOKED Against the Colts in Week 6

In today’s film breakdown we look at the performance of Tennessee Titans’ cornerback L’Jarius Sneed. Sneed played solid for about 50 minutes in this contest, but completely crumbled in the last ten minutes of the game. Getting beat twice down the field by Alec Pierce and giving up two critical completions to Michael Pittman. It wasn’t all bad for Sneed and we can’t know for sure that each play was his fault, but the reality is the Titans expect better from their highly-paid corner.

  1. Sneed ran 20 miles in the first 40-50 minutes of the game. No wonder he was exhausted for the last 10 minutes. I dont know what Sneed really could have done better on that TD pass. The ball was placed in a position where only the WR could catch it, or incomplete.

  2. Unfortunately, Pittman just decides to play like a Hall of Famer against the Titans and play pretty mediocre against everyone else. I thought it was because of him going up against Fulton, but clearly that’s not the case.

  3. Dude they duped us all. So hard. They need to sell that franchise to a person that actually KNOWS football. The boys can play. We have all stars. The leader of that organization knows nothing about football. It’s clear as day.

  4. When We Got Him . I Looked , Not Impressed He Looks To Cheat Alot .
Most Times Does Not Get Caught . 8 Out Of 10 Gets Away With It.
    Peace/;-)))

  5. We have TOO many free agents coming here that were previously good and not giving a shit, and players leaving who were trash and playing good with a new team!

  6. 1st play: Id say this is a mix of sneed being greedy aswell as the route combo stealing his eyes with the curl.

2nd play: in flats coverage and again eyes in the backfield wanting to make a play. i get it but there isnt another route in the area focus on ur man

3rd play: squeeze and rally technique. squeeze the hook rally to the flats with speed and numbers but low man wins gotta give that one to downs 👍🏿

4th play: caught flat footed wanted pierce to set so he could put hands in him better. his (sneeds)speed is decent but not elite lucked out on that one😅

    5th play: got bodied 🤷🏿😅

6th play: all of there eyes are looking inside for some reason. maybe pattern reading. which would work if diggs was getting more depth sneed would take the crosser but ur asking diggs to get on his horse to catch up with a free running pierce 😬

7th play: Dam just broke, no press technique, late to get to the hip for trail tech, was a great throw to keep the corner out of the play

  7. I just don't get how everyone blames Levis for EVERYTHING as to why they are terrible this year. Its not Just Levis, its the entire team outside of most of the defense. That offense as a whole is horrible. A lot of that has to do with the O line being so bad. Also Lets understand that this is Levi's legitimate 1st full year as a starter. If you though he was supposed to come in here with the talent he has around him and just win 12 games, then you had a higher expectation. The reality is this… Titans maybe will win 4 games this year IF they stick with Levis. May 6-7 games if they go with Rudolph. So you keep Levis in, get a better draft pick, keep Levis 1 more season and try to build around him. Levis needs time to learn, and the O line needs to get fixed and this team needs time to play together. This idea of a 1 year offseason fix is beyond me. This is a new team from the top down, so they all have to learn together and go through a draft that will fit their schemes and all that jazz to really put a solid competitive team together. Thats not doable in an offseason. It takes roughly 3-5 seasons with a new coaching staff to build a team to make a run for the playoff and possible superbowl. Thats life folks. So don't stress. Just look to see if Levis learns from his mistakes so far and shows progress. Also look for players to step up and make big plays this year as well and look for what we need next year. Thats it.
