It seems the Oilers are trying to come up with a new game. It’s a shame after we found it last year. The league adjusts to how the Oilers & Mcdavid play. I’ve seen it since he joined the league with the drop back breakout and power play dynamics.

Gotta start thinking about changing some coaches. It's the only way this core can get going. It's obvious they're uncoachable for anything more than a half season.
How many coaches can this team cycle through! Problem is how the players are sleepwalking through the 30 minutes per game they are actually playing . How about 60 min ! best efforts from everyone, playing connected as a team instead a few guys every game

Man this guy is tough to listen to. Physical play not being a requirement is absolutely asinine because you don’t have the puck the whole game Chris, or you wouldn’t be 6-7-1. Rishaug is right in saying the physicality not being required is very concerning. Then stating shot blocking “depends on the system” is probably even more alarming. How does an NHL coach state these things and still have a job? Wild stuff man.
Stu Skinner is jack Campbell 2.0 pure garbage
Would love to see a youthful, high engery ,heavy fore checking 4th line. Sit out the old timers for a game and go with some youth.
It’s not the coach. Players is the problem plus defense watching pucks like that. Every year a coach comes in still lose.
To many what ifs , and hypotheticals.
Sorry but these guys are not going back to the cup let alone win it.
This guys just too casual
Unless there are changes before or on the deadline this team is probably not going back to the Playoffs. With the loss of Broberg, Holloway, Cleoder and Foeg's they are slow ASF. The blueline also is mediocre as usual. They will need to find help at the back end, I like Bouch but he has been a liability in the D zone, and don't get me started on Nurse, he's so bad. Skinner is also too inconsistent. Would like to see them get a good, consistent Goalie, but i'm not going to hold my breath.. Here's to hoping they can figure it out or else bye bye Playoffs. GO OILERS GO!
Bring in Noah , savoie, and drake and sit the ones that are floating , Perry Henrique and Ryan !
