I read that the Mets had offered ASdames %160m contract. There was speculation that the Dodgers had also offered a contrtact, but there was no mention of how big the package would be. The Dodgers' advantage is that they would allow him to play shortstop, wehich is where he wants to play, not 3rd base as the Mets would move him to.
Why adames? I'm sorry, he's not a good fit. I hope I'm wrong.
Adames has said he wanted to play SS and he is good friends with Freddie and Mookie. If they move Mookie to 2B like I have read, Adames and Mookie would work out great together not to mention Willy's bat.
