Still not over the fact that Jed let Kyle go for nothing

  1. I feel that in situations like this, there’s a chance that getting non-tendered or getting a new coach is what led to the player being so much better. 

    I agree that we should’ve kept him regardless but I don’t think he would’ve taken off like he did in Philly. 

  2. I mean Kyle was absolute trash for us. He was a replacement level player and there was no DH in the NL. The guy OPS’d .701 in 2020. He didn’t earn a spot on the roster.

    Credit to him for turning it around, but let’s not pretend it was a controversial decision at the time.

  3. He hit .188 with 11 homers his last year here. You can deal with that average if he’s hitting bombs. He wasn’t.

  4. OK, time for me to go to bed because I’m looking at Schwarber and wondering “why does OP think we got nothing for Karl? He was a free agent.” lol
