Honestly that was the season. Zac finally learned to put the ball in Joe’s hands for the W.
Our stars showed up and played light out. Had no intention watching the full game but was glued to the TV non stop.
I little unfortunate 2 penalties were ignored during the attempt.
Hopefully some positive changes come on the coaching staff and we lock down Trey and Chase as soon as the season is over.
It’s been 2 years since I’ve seen the Bengals play like one of the best teams in the league. Hopefully a glimpse of the coming years.

Sadly that happened 🫠
Going for 2 was the right decision, Hudson wasn’t even in the end zone though. Not sure it was the right play for the situation. It’s a shame they cant run the ball at all…
Also… we left at least 3 points on the field not taking field goals. May have even left 6 out there depending on how Evan performed… sometimes you need to take the points.
Same not mad at all about the decision. Disappointed but not surprised by the refs incompetence.
Baltimore was going with the classic “break the rules on every play and they’ll be too scared to blow the whistle EVERY time” strategy, especially on that last drive.
Same with aggressive pressing teams in basketball. They’re fouling ten times on every possession just daring the officials to keep calling it.
My take? The officials need to man up, call everything for what it is and send a fucking message.
Anyone shitting on the decision is just being results oriented. Thought it showed great awareness to make that decision when your defence can’t stop a thing, which is what we want.
Facemask, pass interference, holding….all on the same play. On a play that ensures victory.
Fucking why. Why why why. Why, during the most pivotal play, did they not call *any* of those?
Meh I didn’t like it. Zac was crazy all game on crucial situation play calling.
I’m just sick if Gisecki getting manhandled by guys half his size all game long. Guy has absolutely no physicality it’s crazy.
Does anyone really think it mattered? Lamar had 38 seconds and 2 timeouts to get into field goal range to win it anyway.
Refs gifted us our first TD so I’m not overly annoyed at the missed calls. Same story, different year. This is a playoff team that doesn’t play like one until it’s too late.
It’s the right decision made by the wrong team imo. Our passing offense is at its worst on the goal line, pair that with Tee being out and Zac’s play calling (and terrible missed flags) I knew it wasn’t gonna work out. But 100% the right choice and I’m 100% more okay with our season in the hands of Joe rather than the defense.
Both decisions, going for it on 4th and the 2 pt were the right calls. They didn’t work, but that’s ok. Offense fuckin cooked and abused the defenses weakness.
The NFL needs to allow ALL plays within the last 2 minutes of a game, to be REVIEWABLE. Because on that 2 point attempt, the REFS clearly missed 2 penalties. Which then would’ve given the Bengals, a retry with the ball at the 1 yard line,
You had no intention of watching the game? Wtf
Going for two was right.
Calling that timeout was dumb af.
Calling that play after a timeout was even worse.
Not making the playoffs with a healthy Joe Burrow should be a felony.
If you go for 2 it’s simple. You throw to the guy who almost had 300 yards and couldn’t be stopped
“I had no intention of watching the full game…”
Ok, thank you for making this post, #1 fan. Your opinion on this matter is the one everyone was waiting on.
I know we got screwed by the refs multiple times but I’m still in the camp of we shouldn’t have let Baltimore comeback and win. We did not adjust well after that Brown turnover
The call to go for two was great. But how do you just not even have a play designed for Chase right there. Completely dominating a game. And he was left on and island not against Humphrey. I looked at the replay and he ran an outside release dig route. No way the line was holding up for that long for him to be the primary target.
I saw a team out there playing without fear. That’s what I want. That is the path to better things.
I completely agree. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone here say that going on the road on a short week..our team; especially our defense, didn’t have overtime in them. Had the chance to win it right then and there. And if we kicked the PAT and lost in OT everyone would lose their fucking minds Taylor didn’t go for two when he had the chance to win it.
It’s true, this is who they are, not the worst, not the best, somewhere in the middle. I didn’t want the 2 point play but I can’t fault the logic behind it. This is also a good lesson as to why you should never bet on the NFL, at least until something is done to improve officiating
I hope burrow, Jamar and Hendrickson request a trade. Wasting prime years for them, and I have zero faith in ownership to do what it takes to turn the ship around.
Ik alot of you like downvoting me when I say we still have a chance to make it into the wildcard round but Im still going to say it. It was a tough loss but I sort of was ready for it, we can still afford to lose one game and that most likely being to one of the steelers game and for the rest of the schedule with an offense thats making history we definitely can take down the rest of them. The chargers, colts and broncos all have tough schedules ahead only making it easier for us to get into the wild card round ( the more they lose the more games we can afford to lose). Dont lose hope just yet yall. Who dey all day baby.
I’m tired of them drawing up low percentage pass plays in crucial situations. The Ravens 2-point play call is an example of a much better play call. Granted, with the best mobile QB of all-time it’s easier. In this case, it wasn’t a good enough designed play. Season is on the line and you throw to…Tanner Hudson?
I know Khalil dropped the ball the 1 snap he got last night, but it didn’t really look like it was on him, and then Brown turned it over not too long after. I wish he would have gotten a few more snaps.
Bad throw
Absolutely that was the right call in that situation. Maybe there was a few missed calls, but haven’t we learned that you can’t let the refs decide the game in key moments? I mean, we were up 14 points and gave up 21 unanswered, the refs should’ve been a non-factor from the start. Just an all out collapse starting with the fumble. Going for 2 was exactly the right call there, as you said, the season was on the line. Pretty much have to win out now, so don’t get your hopes up boys
Im not mad at the decision either. We can’t get mad at Zac when he is conservative and then get mad for trying to win the game here. It was the correct call. I might be stupid saying this to but Chase Browns fumble was not the only thing that cost them the game. Shit happens it’s a fumble. So many other things happened before and after that. Some bad drops questionable deep shots on 3rd and 4th down only needing 2 yards the defense sucking the whole second half. I don’t know how many times this team has Lamar Jackson sacked and yet they cannot get him on the ground. The interior o line got beat like a drum all night.
This team showed its flaws. The team did nothing to address its lack of pass rush and again it no shows. They have a lot they need to blow up on the defense this offseason. The tackling is piss poor. The two biggest signings Geno Stone and Sheldon Rankins have been horrendous. Both need to see the bench they’re getting nothing from them. Geno Stone might be worse than Nick Scott.
If he makes that catch, ZT is a man w balls that made the right choice and believes in his QB!
But since it was not caught. ZT messed up again blah blah blah.
It cant be both ways, but it is.
I loved the call, because you took your season’s destiny into your own hands and had a chance to make it goood.
It’s horrible that games get decided like that with blown calls from the refs. I feel for y’all today.
