Thank god Zion came back in, that had me nervous. Lots of positives from this game. I think this showed us that we should be able to hang with any team and when we get players back we should be able to start stacking wins.
Honestly not that disappointed. They are the #1 team in the NBA and we are missing 4 of our top 6 players. It was a good effort. Zion and BI didn’t even shoot very well, and we were still right there with them
I really wish I saw more of what our offense looked like with DJM to at least give me hope for when he comes back bc right now it’s the same shit it’s always been. Instead of running an actual offense, just hope BI or Zion can do something
Looks like JRE is the guy who inexplicably gets heavy minutes over a well performing rookie this year. Classic.
Good games from Zion, Jose, and Javonte Green. Cavs showed why they are undefeated so hats off. Need some players to get healthy sooner rather than later.
I love that everyone kept fighting while being hurt. Something has to change with this offense, run some plays man. The offense can’t keep being Z and BI go 1 on 5. Also why in the fuck is Missi not playing 25 to 30 minutes?

A lot of losing today. The election, two pick up games, the second dungeon boss of Metaphor, and now this. Kinda sucks.
I know this sounds like coping, but I’m happy with this performance considering we’re missing half our damn team. Willie has his issues (which people around here have certainly pointed out) but these guys are busting their ass out there for him. Shoutout to Jose tonight. People shit on him, but the dude always plays hard and brings the energy
Our last few games, we come out in the 2nd half flat and other team builds a lead we can’t come back against. I know 1/2 the guys are picked up from canal street right before the game but what is Willie not doing during halftime? We had similar problems last year.

BI was out there for a *long* time. Man is absolutely hustling for the team, I would never question BI’s integrity tbqh. Jose was fucking amazing and Missi is my favorite pick since Herb quite easily
I think getting healthy will help, Dejounte will organize the offense I’m sure. But once again I feel like Willie Green is the biggest issue the team faces.

Honestly went better than I expected. Glad that the Zion injury wasn’t serious, looked really good in his return beating up on the twin towers. Missi continues to make great strides. Was pretty sad to see him sit the majority of the 4th, dunno if its a conditioning thing or a Certified Willie Moment. Boston and Green provided some good moments, but seem lost often on defense, and while it payed off a couple times, Green jumping on passes burned us a lot. Hawkins was clearly off, and definitely wasnt 100%. Probably was better sitting this game. The 3 production was again sad, but not much more you can get out of this team with so many shooters out.
All in all, not the worst loss this week *looks at Saints*. Against a title contender, we showed heart. Here’s hoping we can clean up play in the 4th in the future.

This offense has no direction right now. They’re only surviving because BI and Zion can beat guys 1on1(2, 3, 4, 5). Hope this improves when we get our guys back but sheesh

They out rebounded us, had more assists, and they got contributions from their bench.
They had 50 bench points to our 22.
Can Pelicans+ please actually show the first few minutes of every quarter?!
Glad to see Zion came back though. Idk what happened in the 2nd but I’m sure it’s a good sign for his mental and physical health he returned.
This team needs to get healthy…FAST. The effort is there offensively…but the defense is atrocious. Obviously…we missing too many key pieces. But if we don’t get healthy fast…this is going to be a deep hole to climb out of

As Pels crumbled in third quarter I switched to Celts- Warriors. Just seeing the difference watching two elite offenses run motions, picks and off-ball action left me wondering why our coaching staff doesn’t coach that part of the game. Depressing.
Why couldnt we get Kenny Atkinson when he was available? Instead we’re still stuck with Willie fking Green

This game left me oddly optimistic. Maybe it’s just because I was completely bottomed out after Zion checked himself out in the first half. I’m glad he was able to come back in the second half and play well. Some nights we are just going to get out talented with all these guys out. My only big complaint is that JRE needs to start losing minutes. This was the second straight game where he got a no name bench player matched up on him and that bench player went on an 11-0 run by themselves.
