I feel pretty bad for us. Now that we are done giving them picks, Houston doesn’t really care about us. I live in Houston and generally root for them when they aren’t playing the Browns.

Our only rivalry is with ourselves. I still like to pretend we have a rivalry with Pissburg, some people like to pretend we have a rivalvry with the Ratbirds, but the truth is we’ve sucked for so long those fans barely even think about us. Except when we happen to embarrass them. And our situation with Cincy is more about shared misery than rivalry. The truth is, we’re our own worst enemy.

Not a rivalry at all. But I honestly can’t stand everyone in that organization that *knew* exactly what Watson was up to. And I’m having a very hard time not feeling exactly the same about everyone in ours behind the decision to bring him here.
The only non-divisional rivalry I think has ever been a thing was with Denver and even that has cooled off due to our incompetence

Why is this a rivalry because they got our draft picks? We’re losing rivalries I don’t even know we have? If their fans just want to gloat it’s probably because they don’t have any real rivals and they got our draft picks and that’s at least something to be excited for? I don’t know I had no idea this was happening. Enjoy it Texans fans you have to pay that QB in a couple years and the clock is ticking. We all float down here.

And *some* ire towards their team for beating us in the playoffs last season, despite not really knowing if they’d benefited from the trade picks (and Watson no longer being there).

I feel like we’ve had so many trades with the Texans over the years (even pre-Watson), and them being out of our division, also until recently basically never a contender, and the whole “fellow victim of moved franchise” bond, that they were kind of an ally org not a rival. I don’t really see how that’s changed. Though I do think they got off easy for their involvement in covering up his shit.
