It is scheduled to be a phone hearing, not in person

  1. I think 2 games might be the call here. He got assessed a game misconduct, and I feel like they have always taken that into consideration as a game itself. First time offender, I don’t see him getting more than 3.

  2. Usually they have to **offer** an in person meeting if they want to hand out a longer than 5 games suspension. Now that doesn’t necessarily mean that they didn’t offer Jeannot the in person, cause they could have and he could have declined. In that case, Jeannot could *technically* receive a 5+ game suspension.

  3. I’m going to guess the wheel lands on 2 games. I will not be shocked if it’s only 1. The wheel doesn’t care.

  4. My spin of the wheel landed at 3 games. Anything less is such a sham. Jeannot has a track record of playing dirty.

  5. IMO I think that they will factor in the match penalty and that game “missed” to bring the suspension from 3 games to 2 games

  6. I do think this event really changed the entire complexion of the game. These sorts of things galvanize teams, and Brock is a favourite around the hockey club, it seems. Stupid move from Jeannot, possibly costing his team the win and costing himself games on the sidelines in the process.

Good riddance. Hope Brock will be okay.

  7. It is criminal that players get suspended shorter than the time the purposefully injured is out

  8. Fuck the Kings. Dirty team rat shit behaviour. Hope they fucking miss the playoffs.

  9. I was just thinking about how it’s been a while since the DoPS has fucked us over regarding a dirty hit on one of our stars.

  10. Concussions are life changing damage, repeated head trauma is how a player gets CTE down the line.

  11. So 5 games max? Ridiculous. He should be made an example of. It should be 10+ games. Enough is enough.
