The OKC Thunder offense will undoubtedly get better. The question is will the defense still be as dominant or will it slip?

We will eventually, but when we do slip we have a not insignificant chance of getting even better when iHart and JWill are healthy. There will be some off nights but I’m buying us as the best defense in the league rn
It’s crazy how our defense is so dominant that with a bad offense we’re still 2nd in net rating. When our offense gets back to near what we had last year we will be destroying teams
That’s honestly insane that our defense is so good that it can offset a 21st ranked offense for a net overall 2nd place
I think this team will be one of the all time defensive teams
I don’t think we need to worry about any offense, previous years we’ve always struggled towards the start and picked it up throughout the season.
I prefer the offense continue to experiment while continuing to win games during the first half of the season rather than do the same stuff as last year and run into offensive problems again in the post season.
Edit: I know this post is about defense but the nephew takes in this sub about offense made me comment. I think defense will remain top 3 for the year.
I’m not worried about offense. You know Mark uses early season to just toss out random ass line ups and positions.
It says a lot that our defence is strong enough to launch us up to #2 Net rating despite our #21 offence while Cleveland has the #3 Net rating with the #1 offence and a top 10 defence. Once we find our rhythm on offence we’ll really start cooking!
