Bucks NetRtg with Bobby Off : +12.2 , this is better than both Boston (11.9) and Cleveland (12.1)

With Bobby On : -16.7 , significantly worse than #30 Jazz (-15.6). Especially impressive considering he's overlapping with one of Dame or Giannis almost exclusively.

The thing is – there isn't a real way forward to improve this. On offensive , he's playing about the same as ever – the only difference is that he's in a shooting slump from 3 (-11% from last year). Even if we magically swapped his 3p% to 40% we would STILL be worse than the Jazz.

He really is THAT bad on defense, and aside from last game – the team offense devolves to a 1980s lottery team , with 0 movement or passes.

This team has glimpses of being a championship team, and the numbers with their best lineups are reflecting that. The formula or Dame + Giannis + athletes / hustle guys / competent shooting is lethal.

At this point they NEED to make a trade just to get him off the roster and replace him with a league average backup big. It's hard to cut his minutes (unlike the other terrorist off the bench) since we don't really have any backup 4/5s.

But the report today (https://twitter.com/TheDunkCentral/status/1854908830192214024?t=DscI-o9BmjskJm7p3fgXZQ&s=19) gives me hope that in the coming months I'll never have to want to bleach my eyes again at the 4 minute mark of the first quarter.

  1. This was especially apparent last night. The first 2 times bobby checked into the game the jazz immediately went on a run and the bucks lost all momentum. He really needs to be traded sooner than later. We can recover from his terrible minutes against a team like the jazz. But it’s extremely difficult to do so against most other teams.

  2. What’s the best possible realistic return from a Bobby trade? It probably needs to be another backup big.

  3. I feel like we would need another stretch PF or C if we trade him though. Smith/Livingston/Robbins are too raw and Giannis/Brook can’t be our only bigs in the playoffs. Not sure who we can get.

  4. The only hope I have left for Bobby is that he broke his nose and will have to wear a mask for the rest of the season. Players always seem to go off when they put on the mask.

  5. I don’t know the answer to this question but how much is bobby on the floor when giannis is not? I wonder if that could play a role. Idk Bobby’s defense is obviously really bad and it kill3d us in the playoffs but he does not personally bother me as much as Brooke and pat.

  6. Maybe doc hasn’t figured out how to use him correctly. The dude is a perennial 6th moty candidate what could we get that’s better?

  7. i just wanna know, what is causing his shooting slump? where’s has thebobby from the first 2 years went? The bobby we’re seeing is not the Mayor of Milwaukee that we know of…

  8. Bucks second year player Andre Jackson was listed as a starter and he put on a clinic. Ajax provided fantastic defense, brought the energy,  and made all of the right plays on offense and in transition.

    “Put on a clinic.”

Fuck all you doubters and haters!

  9. Part of this stat is just a bias in comparison. I’m sure most teams look like the best team in the east if you looked at them when everything is clicking, but nobody can play their best players 48 minutes.

  10. I saw someone post a trade to the Lakers.

BROLO for D Russell, Jaxson Hayes and some other bum.

I think that’s a reasonable trade. I’d pay big $ to see Jaxson Hayes play in the same lineup with Ajax..

They’d have to make the ceiling to the gym higher with those 2 out there…

  11. HOW CAN SUCH FALSEHOOD GET PRINTED ABOUT THE MAYOR.

Feels bad, man. How the mighty have fallen.

  12. how the mighty have fallen

did he fall off a cliff or is the makeup of team and the scheme not a fit for his style?

  13. Just get someone that’s somewhat athletic or knows how to draw charge and box out. We need speed. If we can trade for that beast of a defensive PF in Orlando I will put down 500 for bucks wining it all, and I have never gambled once in my life

  14. He’s gotta go. Love him and everything he’s done for us but he doesn’t fit the team anymore.
