Anyone know what their plan is for 2025?
April will be here before you know it
Buffalo would gladly welcome another homeless MLB team, biggest stadium in the minor leagues
Anybody got a big tarp?
Honestly what stopping them from just playing like this?
Obviously there will be rainouts and it will be hot but most days they should be able to play. Unless it’s unsafe structurally it feels like the best option.
The tilt of the stadium is so much more pronounced without the roof
Like, wow.
Anyone else think it looks better now?
Just knock it down and rebuild
Can you edit to say the trop with no top
I see no issue. Play ball
Juan Soto, would you like to play in an open air stadium? Here you go buddy
The worlds largest above ground pool
It looks like something made with a 3D printer
So what’s it look like on the inside? People mention it has no drainage, but I’m sure it’s rained since the hurricane, so how are they dealing with the water?
I just realized I will probably never get to tick the Trop 😞
Could Al Lang be used again? Know it would require a refit back to baseball and would affect the Rowdies, but at least they are also owned by the same Rays owner
so…shit inside is just gonna get rained on all winter too, right? That whole stadium is going to be weatherbeaten by spring
Stitch all those shitty Nike/Fanatics unis together and make them useful.
No Topicana Field 😭
Play without a roof; most teams do.
Looks fine. Just put the roof back on.
Done chopped the top off the trop big pimpin mane
Move to Hartford you cowards – just think of the money you’d save not flying to NY and Boston
umbrella giveaway is gonna be a hit this year
Like, wow
It’s a landmark, you can’t deny that. You see a building like that, you’re gonna friggin’ remember it.
Without a tarp, this looks like a huge bun cake molder.
Phillies got no hit in the World Series
Now known as the Trough
Rapid unplanned outdoor stadium conversion
Just put a giant plastic wrap over it. Simple!
Fill it with rice and it’ll be fine.
There’s gotta be a lot of water damage in there if it had no drainage system. As a new homeowner I am super vigilant about water and you would be surprised how fast it can fuck up something that isn’t intended to be wet.
Haha losers. You all said the Trop was the ugliest indoor stadium ever.

Well it’s even uglier without a roof.
It’s now the Tropican’t field
Tear it all down
Shucks, guess you have to move to Portland now.
