17. I appreciate the effort Macky puts in to his analytical research, and enjoy the information he provides. Thanks! If I could make a suggestion to add to – not replace that great work being done now, it might be to give us an even better perspective with season stats AND more current numbers and trends. You already do that to some degree but making it a standard feature would be great. Business has long known that analyzing "lag-time indicators" tells you what was happening in the past, but not always what is happening now or data to make accurate future predictions. When you tell us "since the bye", or "since the injury" I always get more a realistic understanding of now than with overall season averages. For instance the defense has great overall numbers, but comparing our season stats to another teams season stats doesn't really help predict how either team will do tomorrow. When you compare our ex with our current, its hard to honestly see how Darnold ranks compared to Cousins when the numbers include the first 4 months when Cousins was still recovering from a season ending injury or when Sam had no tape on him. So I don't want to assign you more work breaking down statistics (occupational hazard) but love to see your State of Vikings features include numbers for entire season, then also for last month, and then RECENT trends you see. I find that interesting and helpful. Keep up the great work.
