Scheduled loss. We will live to club another day!
I’m proud that our guys were able to keep up with the best team in hockey for most of the game. We definitely need to work on closing the shot gap, and pulling Vej so early wasn’t the right call. Onto St Louis, go Utah!
I am feeling truly bad for Veggie. He’s been pretty solid so far, but the offensive support has been dreadful in all his appearances since the start of the season. A grand total of ONE Goal For in 4 games, including his 2 periods in relief vs OTT… (granted, two of them were against strong NJD and WPG teams). But thats not gonna help in the win-loss stat column is it! Hope they can turn it around soon enough, rooting for the guy!
Need to work on our power plays
We did pretty good considering Schmaltz played horrible and the first goal Jets got was off of a questionable call.
