Illegal hands to the face on 3 players.

Not blaming one bad call but this is what you introduce as a risk when you don't put teams away. If you make it a one score game a single call (versus KC) or no call (last night) can lose you a game.

Our record is 4-6. It is probably 8-2 if you swapped coaches with the opponents. This is the biggest waste of a season in my NFL watching history.

  1. Nevertheless, we should’ve never let Baltimore comeback. We had the lead and we blew it. We cannot count on the refs to bail us out or make the right calls in close games- we’re not KC. Our only hope of beating Baltimore was to run up the score and widen the margin for success.

  2. So by my count we have:
    – defensive holding against Gesiki
    – Pass interference against Hudson
    – facemask on Burrow
    – roughing the passer on Burrow
    – illegal hands to the face on Volson
    – defensive holding on Karras

If my understanding of the NFL rulebook is right, the holding on Gesiki or PI on Hudson would have put the ball on the 1 yard line and the personal fowls against Burrow would have each tacked on half the distance to the goal.

The Bengals should have gotten a chance to move the ball 9 inches to win.

  3. The league needs to do something about the crooked ass refs. It never ceases to amaze how they always miss the calls on a few of the “favored” teams, such as Ravens and Chiefs.

  4. Man fuck that. The problem is alex kappa sucks. Joe mixon should have never been traded.
Sheldon rankins sucks sam.hubbard cam taylor Britt sucks vonn bell sucks.

Down vote me all u want But Alex Kappa is the one who’s on the ground with the game on the line. He’s sucks ass and has been trash since 2022. Fuckin bozos

  5. It’s annoying because it’s the last play of the game. The defense is going to try get away with doing anything they can to stop the offense. It’s on the officials to do their fucking job

  6. It’s funny watching Ravens fans on YouTube try to justify the horrendous missed calls with “you guys were given penalties to get to the goal line anyway and the penalties would have offset.” Even if they were to offset the Bengals still should have had 1 more try.

Apparently if you commit penalties and it gets called that it’s okay to ignore penalties later on in the drive according to Ravens fans. Missed a blatant face mask early in the drive as well.

  7. I agree 100%. But we are talking about the Cincinnati Bengals. Historically, it is one of the worst franchises in the league. Small market. Sure, from time to time, they show promise and then resort back to being who they are. Nothing will change until Brown is fully gone or the team is sold. In the history of the team, they’ve only dealt at the trade, what 3 times? One of what, like 2-3 teams that don’t have a GM. They do just enough to give people hope every few years, then bring us back to reality. They’re wasting Joe. He could be one of the greatest of all time, but it’s not going to happen in Cincy. Same with Chase. They could possibly be the greatest QB/ WR combo of all time, but they play in Cincinnati. I love my Bengals, but it’s the same recycling, over and over.

  8. Baltimore will get called for 5+ illegal hands to the face next week. That’s how the NFL works, Bengals get screwed but their next opponent gets rewarded.

  9. Bruh they needed to be better at least soccer has var that helps the ref make the right call then nfl need some kind of var especially in the playoffs cause if we lost like that in the playoffs id b sooo much more pissed off. Refs should get fined or fired for missing calls like this. These refs need help or need training

  10. 71 on the bengals is literally holding in this photo… the refs are just bad at their jobs… it not an conspiracy against the bengals

  11. If you tackle the 5th string wide receiver instead of letting him run 84 yards, if you don’t fumble, if you give up less than 40 QB pressures and have more than 3 it would not come down to converting on a 2 point conversion. Stats are for fantasy football, making plays are for winning football teams/games.

  12. It looks like one of those comical plays I see in movies where everyone on the team decides there’s no rules for one play and goes buck wild. Maybe it was the replacements????

  13. So I watched this play over. Karras held the Raven when he was falling backwards on his ass and tried to pull him down. That was not defensive holding. It was pretty obvious offensive holding. There were a lot of penalties so they should have replayed the down no matter what.

The real issue was the Bengals offense and defense f–ked up many times before this and never should have been in that position. A fumble, a turn over on downs, and the defense after play better than any other defense the first 40 minutes against the Ravens fell apart.

Like it or not, we need to admit that the defense the first 40 minutes played lights out and did better than anyone expected.

  14. I think we’re also overlooking fumbling the ball, blowing a 14 point lead, and launching two consecutive go routes on 3 and short and 4 and short. That game shouldn’t have come down to this.

  15. How about we stop complaining and get a guard that doesn’t get bulldozed during the most important play of the game

  16. It reminds me of when the Ravens purposefully held every Bengal on a punt to run out the clock.

  17. In this picture you can even see the right tackle holding, it was a messy play on both sides but don’t pretend the refs didn’t make bad calls for both teams.

  18. But don’t make it so obvious or act like you don’t see it even the announcers said something about and there not Bengals fans

  19. I have only been watching the NFL again since the pandemic gave me the free time I haven’t had in the last decade or two. I was a ’90s Bengals fan, but I have been frustrated by the ineffectiveness and inaccuracy of refs, given all the new technology. Am I wrong? Is this corruption like in the NBA? Help me understand how teams like the Ravens and Cheifs consistently get huge gains from these crews!
