This graphic is 100% worthless and won’t be considered at all for the MVP. The MVP rankings with change daily in the last weeks of the season, and even those will be mostly useless guesses.
When your MVP rankings is just sorting by PPG and removing any player on a team with <50% record.

He won’t win again, absolutely no way that happens. And I don’t really care, just like I’m sure he doesn’t. The hardware he’s already got is impressive enough, and knowing he’s still actually the best player in the game is enough. Jordan not winning it every year in his prime didn’t change he was the best, and LeBron not winning it every year in his prime didn’t change that he was the best. Same thing here.

I think it’s best for our collective mental health as a fanbase if we check out of the MVP race. They’re not going to give it to him. Nuggets could win the rest of their games and Jok could average 40/20/20 and they won’t give it to him. Jok himself doesn’t care, and anyone who knows anything knows he’s the best basketball player on Earth. Finals MVP is the real goal anyway.

A lot of things on the internet make more sense when you realize that most of the companies and big names are incentivized to get people to engage, not to make sense. This thread is a perfect example. It exists precisely *because* AD shouldn’t be at the top. This kind of thing drives people to see the instagram post and complain there, which boosts their engagement numbers, none of which will retroactively go away when the Lakers struggle to make the playoffs.
