[Kaplan] Diamond Sports and the Cincinnati Reds are dissolving their joint venture regional sports network, according to a court filing in Diamond’s Chapter 11 case.

It’s crazy to think that back in May of 2023 when the bankruptcy proceedings began with DSG, they were a few days away from dropping the Reds and having the MLB taking over the broadcast rights thanks to missed payments.
It would’ve been poetic to have the first truly professional baseball team that lead to the eventual formation of the MLB also be the first team to have that league produce their locally televised games, but alas, that was not the case.
