  1. So Nashville, who everyone crowned the winner of the off season because of all the signings, has crapped the bed, and the Jets who everyone said lost the off season (they did NOTHING) is off to a record start…analyze THAT.

  2. Erik Karlsson is one of the worst defending defenseman I have ever seen…. He reminds me of Jeter, except he’s worse defensively than him too….
    I still cannot believe he won the Norris in San Jose… shows how little they care about actual defensive metrics or ability anymore for that award

  3. How did Friege not recall Steve Smith's own goal eliminating the Oilers in 86. Must have been busy with his other big events that night. 😉

  4. Players from other sports with hockey names: Cam Newton. And about 20 years ago the Braves had an infielder named Pete Orr, not Bobby, but he wore #4 most of his career. Since he was Canadian it's obvious it wasn't a coincidence.
