  1. Some statistics all of of you Oiler fans should know that weren't mentioned. They are 6-7-1; last season at this point they were 4-9-1. They had just defeated the Islanders for Knoblauch's first NHL win. They would win the next game and then lose three in a row to go to 5-12-1. Let's say we win in Van tomorrow and then win 2 of the next three, to go 9-8-1. Wow! We are four games ahead of last season, when we went to Game 7 of…OH YEAH?? What happened after 5-12-1?? The Oilers went 24-3-0!!! Anyone want to bet they'll be lucky to go 14-13-0 they way they are playing now??? If they have any Stanley Cup aspirations, they have to figure it out. NOW.

  2. The Oilers will start winning. They have the talent. Just need to be disciplined for a full 60 minutes. They've achieved good chemistry now, and within a few games that will improve even more.

  3. Advanced metrics aren’t scoring , playing defense or playing as a team. You can have the greatest musicians in a band but sound terrible if not in tune or on the same beat. Something has to change to get this talented team on track.
