This is a ticket for a Packers vs Bears Game in 1940 at Old City Stadium in Green Bay. My grandfather took my grandmother there for a date early in their relationship.

Just a quick comparison: Median salary in 1940 was $26/week which is about $0.65/hour. So it took 6-7hrs of work to pay for a $4.40 football ticket.
Today the median salary is ~$35/hr. So the same duration of work (6-7hrs) would get you a ~$200-250 ticket.
A lot of people are not making $35/hr especially in WI
