There was competition from Evan Engram, but the clear choice is Will Hernandez, Dave Gettleman's first hog molly draft pick, that started okay but ended bad. Next!

Reminder that I will not be accepting Giants currently on the team.

  1. I’m going old school with head coach Allie Sherman. Three straight NFL Championship Games to start, eventually a mass exodus of quality and chants of “Goodbye Allie.”

  2. Jerry Reese. His first draft looked amazing initially and so many of those guys were instrumental in winning Super Bowl 42. By the end, the roster was anemic as he could not hit on anyone outside of the first round.

  3. Tiki Barber one of our best RBs talked shit about the team was a locker room cancer and the year after he left we win the Super Bowl. I think he’s still one of very few players with over 5k rushing and 5k receiving yards.

I guess leaking to newspapers your quitting because you are mad at the team is ending great? What kinda tiki revisionists have I upset.

  4. Easy one here for me Steve Smith. He had an instant connection with Eli. Had a great rookie season with a ton of big catches. Instant pro

  5. Shockey definitely fits the bill here

From a rookie of the year campaign in which he electrifed fans and [played like an angry gronk](https://youtu.be/PfuVKo7GRCE?si=K-y_Ok45Hhf2dOce), making great catches and not shying away from running over defenders, to being a locker room nuisance and getting shipped off to new Orleans after our 2007 super bowl run that he didn’t participate in (thanks kevin boss).

Even with that he still was one of my favorite giants of that era
