Jeremy Sochan will train with the Spurs staff even as his thumb has been completely immobilized

  1. So he isn’t going to one of Poland, OKC or Great Britain under the influence of his uncle while he recovers? Hmmm seems a little sketch ngl.

  2. Jokes about his one-handed shooting aside (which honestly aren’t really even jokes, he’s legit good at those free throws now) this kicks ass to see. Some players would just sit by with an injury like this but Jeremy has that hustle and a desire to always be improving, so to see that he’s gonna keep working even with a broken thumb is amazing.

Hopefully this minimizes any rust he has coming back from his injury because he has been by far one of the brightest points of the season so far.

Also it is the craziest fucking luck that it’s his off hand that got injured and he’s literally the guy that’s been practicing right hand one handed free throws. If this happened in a movie people would say that it feels unrealistic lol.

  3. Ronnie Lott only needed nine fingers. Sochan should one-up him and ditch TWO fingers.

  4. Crazy seeing the switch in attitude from the fanbase on Jeremy this year. Maybe I’m misremembering but over half the posts about him last year were negative 😂

He’s gonna be good for Spurs for years to come

  5. If I played basketball with pins in my hand and my thumb immobilized in junior high, I’m sure he can practice off-ball.

Blah blah one handed shooting blah blah masturbation joke blah blah

  6. This is what I’ve been thinking about. Most players who injure their off shooting hand tend to end up becoming a better shooter. They can still workout with their shooting hands, the off hand is just a balance hand for shooting anyway. Especially, it’s his thumb that got injured, so he has a chance to eliminate any thumb flick from his off hand.

  7. If this somehow forces him to get that stupid hitch out of his shot, then that would be great.
