  1. There was this point in LeBron’s 2012~ run where it felt like he was so much better than the game that he was bored and challenging himself by chasing ridiculous levels of efficiency.

Specifically, I think he was trying to score 30 points on 10 or less FGA. He never once accomplished it, but you can almost see his fingerprints on the game logs.

I don’t think Jokic is “trying” to do that. An 11-13 game from him is just as likely to be a 14-25 game as it is a 4 points 20 assists game. I think he’s just really in tune with the flow of the game and weaponizing what the defense is giving up, but the only way I can compare it to any other player I’ve ever watched is to point to someone firmly in the GoaT conversation and at the peak of his powers toying with the limits of efficiency.

  2. The first player to have a 30/11/14 stat line on a Friday at exactly 6:08 PM while a brown dog and a calico cat had a fight on Colfax in the rain at sunset while a white Ford F150 drove by.

I detest these “first ever” stats lol. He had a great game, everything doesn’t have to be a first ever.

  3. I’m sorry but as many records as Jokic has related to Triple Doubles, Mr triple double would still have to be Westbrook… He averaged a Triple Double THREE seasons in a row, broke the record for most triple doubles in a season (42), and had some numbers similar to Jokic insanity like a 20/20/21 TD, he also has the record for most in a row at 11, and at the game for the 12th in a row had had 48 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists. His team of youngsters failed him that night by not getting those last 2 assists, which they had multiple good chances to score with. Russel has the most overall also with 199 Triple doubles…
