Giannis trade AND free agency rumors have been a thing for over 7 years now..
From when he really established himself as a rising SUPERSTAR in the league in the 2016-17 season. All the way up to this DISASTER of a season for the Bucks right now. Giannis as the next big superstar to be moved has been on our minds the entire time

But it hasn’t happened!

And when you talk about something for that long… and it still doesn’t happen… you start to believe that it never will…

BUT, right now… the possibility of Giannis playing for a team that is NOT the Bucks soon… is as real as it has ever been.

  1. Genuinely not trying to glaze here, but why not the Spurs? They’d have the cap, the young assets on friendly deals, an absolute war chest of picks, and a high ceiling in the front court with Wemby and Giannis together.

  2. As someone from Milwaukee I don't see the bucks trading he means so much to the team and the city they're not gonna trade him unless he starts talking to media ans stuff about wanting out

  3. Bucks should get an absolute haul of young talent and picks from someone for Giannas then go get 3 firsts for Dame Middleton Lopez from 3 contenders and call it a day. Easy rebuilt.

  4. first, I think the bucks should try tp keep giannis unless he absolutely demands to leave. Bite the bullet and admit the dame trade failed and see what you can get for him. If that doesnt work out, I think OKC is way more realistic than you make it sound. I know Chet is good, but for Giannis you throw him in the trade without a second thought.

  5. I think Atlanta is a good guess of a destination. If ice cold is a big part of the trade or he's still on the team after i think that could be fun. Idk about championships tho so maybe yonni might want big shrimp in norrrrlins

  6. I know it would never happen but Jayson Tatum for giannis the teams would both improve on paper Milwaukee gets younger Boston gets a true top three player in the league. Obviously Boston doesn't need to do it though

  7. The only team that actually makes sense for a trade is the pelicans. Firstly the bucks can get all THEIR picks back which they need to rebuild. And they're the only contender (or semi-contender) which has the other assets which the bucks would want, someone like zion or ingram + trey murphy along with their picks seems like the best thing for both parties.

  8. Why would anybody sign Giannis. He got two good coaches fired, and his main priority is getting his brother a spot on the roster… the Bucks are literally in this mess because of him. 😂😂😂

  9. It will be golden state they were about to go all in for Lauri if Gianni’s is on the table there throwing everything at Milwaukee they want to give Steph one more chance and honestly I think they could beat out okc offer okc isn’t throwing in jdub or Chet while golden state would offer Wiggins kuminga podz and a haul of first they have picks and young players Milwaukee would want Cason Wallace and Dort isn’t cutting it Milwaukee will want jdub or Chet

  10. I think we have now reached the stage in the NBA where players need to stay and try to make it work the age of the super team is done

  11. Golden State trading for Giannis would surprise me a lot. They are rolling right now, with the way they play. I'm not saying Giannis can't play fast and dynamic, he is great in transition and a good passer, but he would have to get used to playing like this and is not a threepointshooter of any significance either. The Houston Rockets is a more realistic destination, but once again would they want to?

As for the Nets, I don't think they have a decent team at the moment. Even if they have a few good players, like every team, they are going to be tanking for Cooper Flagg, who is not on the same timeframe to Giannis.

  12. The Bucks personnel are living in denial. They believe they are in a funk that they can get out of with Glenn Rivers. Doc is glib. In any profession, people improve their craft over time. You could argue that Doc Rivers has only declined. He was never above average. His best years were average or slightly below average.

  13. I think it’s hilarious no one mentions the Cavs in the Giannis sweep stakes.

They have Garland and JA to give up. The bucks don’t own any of their own picks. Take that with a Dame Miami deal and you have a young successful team with the ability to send off role players for low tier picks

  14. You cannot trade for Giannis the new can wont allow it unless you have 1 player that make value of money per year to that of Gianni’s then you can add picks you also can add players because of the apron there in, the only team that can trade for him is the heat Jimmy and him make identical money and Jimmy would be off there books the following year

  15. They had the right coach but he wasn't scared to say giannis' brother is trash….. giannis gotta live with his decision to get that coach fired

  16. The desperation move of trading Brook Lopez for Grant Williams is still in play. I bet the Bucks make at least two more desperate trades before giving up and trading Giannis.
