Remember when people in this sub got their hopes up AGAIN and would argue with anyone who would even dare question why we should feel different and expect anything different from Zion this year?

I think that the Will Guillory piece has aged quite poorly. When it was released in August, it seemed like he was going to be on a world tour of destruction. Well, there’s been some destruction, but it’s been mostly in this sub and fan base.
Honestly, given how bad our injuries are, I don’t even blame Zion at this point. I’m not convinced he’s injury prone so much as I am that our trainers and medical staff aren’t very good at their jobs, so everyone on the team gets injured as fuck.

I think Zion wants to succeed and has been plagued with injuries. We can argue the reason why all we want but he has been hurt. I believe he came back too early and was trying to gut it out and ended up doing more damage. The real question is why is he playing injured, I believe it is that he wants this team to win and with everyone out he tried playing Superman. I like Willie and have never agreed with the people saying fire him but someone in this organization needs to look closely and see why this keeps happening. Are we just cursed as a city or is there a reason both Saints and Pelicans are destroyed with injuries.
Lot of folks trashing me when insisted dreading Zion. Unfortunately his value might be 0 at this point.
I hate all of this because anytime Zion gets injured now people just assume he’s fat and out shape, like I get it, he’s been unprofessional before, but that guy body is breaking down, twice he’s blown his hammy while playing at a high level. This time it’s probably just means it’s a degenerative problem. But I’ve never seen a player get hurt and everytime it’s nothing but hate. Y’all can suck a dick man.
