As a longtime Rangers fan, I am happy with the result but not the product. Grade A chances were about 15-5 in favor of the Wings here. There were too many turnovers and too many times being caught flat-footed. Wings deserved a much better result.
The way it looks now, no way this team is breaking the playoff drought this year.

Any other night and this is a big win for the Wings. Frustrating game, but if they play like this every game it’ll produce a lot of wins. Best they’ve looked all season

Red wings seriously need to up their defence. You can't leave the opposing team free in front of your goaltender.
Offence was good though, Quick was amazing stopping those shots.

Was at this game, my 2 fave teams together at last. Frustrating to see DRW hit the post so many times, but Quick was stellar.

I had to laugh seeing Darren McCarty on X tonight asking if the Wings wanted to get rid of Lalonde? Look at the roster Yzerman has put together. I've watched more of the Pistons this season than the Wings. This is a product not worth watching.
Wings couldn't buy a goal tonight. They played well enough to win. Just nothing went their way.
