Pacers & Cavs being the two toughest teams during this portion was something I didn’t see coming when I first glanced at our schedule…

(3-1) Home&Home with the Bucks & Magic – I really think with the injuries those two teams are facing…it’s not far fetched at all to think we split those 4 games at least

(0-2) Cavs will give us front court headaches and exposure. The pacers have the depth to score with anyone. I think we’ll get a good idea how we stack against playoff teams here, but a win is a bit optimistic

(2-1) The winnables… 76ers are a very beatable team while PG is on a pitch count and Embiid will be suspended. The Pistons (ESP while Duren’s ankle is rolled) are as beatable as it gets for us. The Nets are intriguing, but I think we have just too much firepower offensively for them. I could totally see 3-0 here, but 2-1 to be modest…

Nevertheless, I see us ending this stretch (and the first 20% of the season) somewhere around .500, or a game behind.

  1. I mean if we don’t have our #1, #2 Centers and maybe MB, then this is still an incredibly tough stretch. Without those 3 any game will be difficult to win.

  2. I really hope we see Mark at some point during this stretch. We’re a different looking team with him in there, even if he’s got a year’s worth of rust to shake off. Just his presence inside changes a lot of things.

  3. Man as someone who’s watched most of this team’s games over The years, I’ll tell you right now never start counting wins early like this with this team. Pistons and nets are the 2 teams we have the best chances of beating and even those guys I think would likely be tough outs for us.

Even with injuries teams like the bucks and Magic are going to give us a really hard time.

  4. Cavs is the only game that scares me lol. Allen and Mobley are gonna eat us alive if Mark or Nick isn’t back by then.

  5. don’t get it twisted, we still are the hornets who had to beat the pistons with a buzzer beater

  6. Why do i just know that we are going to be the ones to get philly and the bucks out of their slumps
