[Feigen] Rockets assign Cam Whitmore to RGV Vipers in the G League. Whitmore has been out of the rotation the past two games, playing last night when the benches were cleared.

1. He’s too good for G-league, but we’re too deep to give him real minutes

2. Expected. Hopefully he can find a spot in rotation when Brooks contract expired.

3. He needs it. He’s still a black hole on offense hopefully going to g league improves his play making and decision.

8. I love cam and I’m not sure how good he will handle this as he clearly has a bit of ego to his game (which was a good thing last season). The G league seems like it will let him find his 3 point stroke again and get minutes, but with the guys on that roster it is not going to help the issue of cam taking shots everytime he gets the ball.

9. I’m sad to say this but I think Cam Whitmore will be a trade piece in the future. I just don’t see him panning out in Houston anymore.
