  1. A right hand shot defenseman?? Ya mean like Kovasevic?? Bet we can't get one for a 4th-rd draft pick. Especially not one who leads his team in +/-. Let's not focus on firing Marty…the "self-inflicted" wounds have come from higher up.

  2. PLEASE don't encourage HuGo to make any more trades!!!!! Hard to remember the last time they made one that wasn't an absolute disaster. Acquiring Monahan might be it…but they ended up negating that one truly stellar move by trading him away for nowhere near enough.

  3. LoL. Internet folks need to get a grip on reality. Everyone jumping to cup talk at beginning of season but now want to fire and trade everyone. CHILLAX! Stop betting Soo much Soo fast and let time do it's thing. We will be back where we should be when our habs toddlers learn to walk, then you can expect them to run. We will get there, just not NOW.

  4. Keep your positive energy boys, if our coach doesn't improve like some of our players have, we'll never make the playoffs. Number one pick coming again. Embarrassing

  5. Tank baby for #1, he will be a beast. This first line sucks! Rebuilds takes time, not 3 year's some 10 to 15. Were they under 4 or 5 games under 500 last year? I don't think so, so it's over, let's run this to the ground andnext year is the true first year of the rebuild, you can't rebuild with a bunch of dead wood.

  6. Each real fan is supporting the team especially during tough times. No hate an toxicity is needed. Put Slaf-Suzuki-Caufield together. By the way 12 minutes for Slaf in 15-20 seconds sessions? Really? How can you show any performance in such short shifts? Slaf played well up until he was demoted to the 2nd line and Suzuki and Caufield since then are lost as well.

  7. The Habs played soft, the Leafs played tough, the Habs got intimidated early on and that was it. It felt like déjà vu. Also, Caufield was scoring when Slaf played on the first. Just saying. You don't develop your youngsters on the third or fourth line.

  8. The team is in shambles. What happened to Slav? Is Xhekaj injured or disinterested? Are Suzuki and Caufield resting? Why did the Leafs push us around the first 2 periods? It isn't that we are losing it is how dispirited the team is playing.
It is time for a coaching change. I love St. Louis but he is very inexperienced. Time to get an experienced coach who can actually mold this group into a team.
The only other explanation is that this team does not have the talent to be competitive in the NHL. If this is the case then fire Hughes.

  9. The team lacks confidence right now. What kind of team is Montreal? Are they a skilled team? A defensive minded team? A physical team. Right now I am now seeing any of those. However, at the start of the year, I felt they were a tough team when Arber was the Sheriff. It got the players and the fans excited. The other elephant in the room here though is MSL. I like him but he lacks coaching experience and that is why we don’t know what kind of team we are. I don’t want to panic because we are the second youngest team in the league and likely to get younger. I just don’t want to make the biggest mistake in franchise history again by putting inexperienced leaders in positions they are not ready for like Mario Tremblay and Rejean Houle. We have not recovered. YET!

  10. Everyone is freaking out about a rebuilding team having ups and downs while Nashville who went "all in" is sitting in last place. Relax everyone. Great show guys! GO HABS GO!

  11. Hey Josh, I did not watch the video yet, I just wanted to chime in about your intro, it is not even a matter of being patient or not, it is a matter of a coach that is stuck in HIS idea of a great defense system that is just too complicated for a team that is full of so young players. it is nothing more then that, bring a zone defense to this team and I guarantee, we would be winning a whole lot more hockey games. This system his built for teams that are really strong and experienced… we are far from there yet.

  12. I always find it incredibly unfair that during a rebuild there’s multiple seasons of leeway for the team to learn to play together, but absolutely zero concessions made allowing for a coach learning the best way to lead such a team. St. Louis is also a part of the rebuild and it seems like we often forget that

  13. Been a fan for 50 yrs. I am told this is a rebuild and accept it while taking our lumps. "Fabro a Righty that can eat up minutes???" Who's minutes he gonna eat up?…gonna eat up Arbors time. jaydons time & 30% of the Laval D have potential and are begging for minutes that will help them develop and you mention think about a faceless dman getting with us. And trade Barron ASAP to open up more ice for others. (ok ok Josh i know you gotta throw talking points out for your channel-thank you btw.

  14. again Josh, you state the other teams that went through a rebuilt and that it takes time… True… BUT,, Pretty sure all these rebuilding teams were not playing man to man cover in the D zone. The problem lays right there.

  15. Evans so bad wouldn’t make any other team – less than 30 goals in almost 300 games, minus player his whole career, lost every draw killing penalties, let Nylander skate by him without touching him for his goal, skated away from Calgary goal scorer for tying goal the other night, never hits anyone, soft!! Quit praising him!!

  16. The thing is that currently there is too much youth on the Habs right now so lacking proper NHL experience. They have not even played a quarter of the season with a bunch of idiot fans wanting to fire St. Louis which SHOWS considerable impatience. Also I think the implementation of the rule (around 1995) that the GM and the head coach must be able to speak French greatly limits who the Canadiens can recruit. There is a fairly limited number of possible coaches currently in the NHL that can speak French fluently which greatly ensures either we go through the same previous coaches (like Therrien and Julien). Note, Vignault has retired. The Habs have been fairly offense anemic for a long time.

  17. When do you stop saying rebuilding since 94 and start saying it’s a shit show. Molson don’t care cause he will still make money selling merchandise and seat tickets sub par coach.and staff they been working on pp since 2 coaches ago. Bring back the nordiques Montreal was only relevant year after year when they were around we could of had Roy at least he coaches with passion the only thing marty mouse does is shakes his head like a bobble doll
