  1. Game was decent until the meltdown Obviously… couple bad calls that changed the course of the game.. hopefully Tocc understands that he could do something different next time… Lank was due for a stinker (although not all his fault) .. nice to see Petey show up.. I did drop a lot of F bombs last night .. I also had Lank in net for fantasy and every goal that went it dug me a deeper hole. …

  2. Losing this game hurt. But I hope this is the turning point for Pettersson. He was our best player that night. Nice to see Hronek finally score as well( What exactly is the sub’s hope for his production this season? Is it 40-50 points for that salary?)

I still don’t understand why Tocc didn’t use a timeout or why he decided to mix-up all but the 3rd line for no reason. Didn’t Höglander sub in after Boeser went out in the LA game?

  3. The Oilers were literally unlucky and still scored 7 goals

They scored 7 times in a game where the puck got lost in the crease multiple times, and in a game where Kevin Lankinen made a point blank desperation paddle save.

Just a ridiculously bad defensive performance.

  4. The black skate can fuck off back to the 90s, our goalies changing gear everytime we wear it is ridiculous. Tochett needs to smarten the fuck up I think the whole jack adams thing has gone to his head also where the hell did they get yogi? Our specail teams is shit! Trade 73 and 47 they fuckin suck there is a reason even edmonton didn’t play him

  5. Quite likely one of the ugliest games of the season . Having the worst home record in the league and getting absolutely pumped with 7 goals at home ( could have been 9 ) from a division rival who beat us in 7 last year.deffo got outclassed . And out coached . Please for the love of god keep a line configuration and stick to it longer then a few shifts or a game .putting this on the coaching staff . It’s their job to have these guys ready and playing a division rival at home isn’t the time to ice an entirely new roster configuration . Silver lining . Pete was looking a lot better out there . Might have been the best he’s looked in the last 62 games

  6. That was disappointing. Hope we get Joshua, Boeser and Demko back soon, and this Petterson is here to stay

  7. Coaching seemed way off with the constant jumble of lines and the 11-7 configuration. Did tocc talk to the media last night? As soon as the game was over I went to bed, if anyones got a link or a run down of what he said I’d be super appreciative!

  8. It’s a shame they came out flat in the third and hung Lanks out to dry. Upsides, they really are starting to look dangerous offensively 5v5 when they gain the zone and the set plays connect. It’s no excuse but from where I was watching the ice was tilted in favour of the Oilers for the entire game and in several ways, not just missed penalties. I see them zapping their own momentum in a way as well. Battling *hard* for possession and getting a clean pass only for the next pass to be wafted into traffic or into the skates of a player that’s tied up. Rinse, repeat. Recovering from that (or not) every shift will wear a team out quickly.

  9. One more thing for these soft ass hockey players next time connor brown runs your goalie you beat the piss out of him. Brown ran over lanks twice and no one did shit! Then the guy almost scores a hatty! I thought this team was coached by the legend rick tocchet were incredibly soft
