  1. I’ve been saying for weeks now, he wouldn’t be taking those shots if they weren’t falling in practice. Pair that with the 91% ft’s and it’s just going to take time for it to start falling. The loss today falls on over confidence, they expected to blow them out and didn’t take it seriously. Young team overconfidence.

  2. I’ve always found it funny that people really think that Greg freaking popovich was just letting Victor fly around and take all of his shots if there wasn’t some evidence In practice and behind the scenes that he was capable of hitting them..

But honestly this isn’t surprising at all. Everyone who knows Vic knows a game like this was bound to happen. And there’s probably going to be an even bigger one coming up where he has one of those 13 plus three-point attempt games and hits like eight of them.

The real key will be him just being consistent in hitting them, and also making sure he takes the right looks. He has a tendency once he starts to get into a rhythm of becoming borderline irrationally confident and his overall shot selection can go down.

Once he starts to hit them consistently he just needs to remember what got him there and not fall in love with too many WTF crazy ones. I’m excited to see him develop as a shooter this year.
