Want nothing to do with Luis Robert. Sox need a proven power bat right hand and a leader. Now crochet I would take but I’m kinda iffy on him also. But he’s still very young!
Need to swap out Anthony for any two non-top 5 guys and the trade is fine. Crochet just doesn’t have a long track record aside from injuries. Robert also has an injury history and really turtled last year. Big questions on building around those two, but the Sox have prospect capital to spend.

I don’t want the Red Sox to trade Abreu unless they get someone like Robert Jr. back, so I would put him in the deal. I’d also send Campbell to give them another really good position player, and since we are getting a right handed bat back, we can afford to send one. Then we’d be able to keep Anthony, Mayer and Teel. Crochet slots in the front of the rotation, outfield would be Anthony-Duran-Robert Jr., middle infield would be some combo of Story, Grissom, Hamilton and Mayer depending on health.
Doubt it happens but I love the idea of Duran-Devers-Robert-Casas at the top of the order.
